Alison Brause EXPERIENCE

A professional with unique experience and a proven track record in
Organizational Development and Improvement, Training and Skill
Development, Organizing and Networking, Consulting and Facilitation
DETAILED EXPERIENCE
Ms. Brause has participated in two full scale implementations of Requisite
Organization: a Singapore based global company of 60,000 employees, under
the direction of Dr. Jaques and the Corporate V.P. of Organization
Engineering, and a growing Florida-based manufacturing and installation
company under the direction of Kathryn Cason. She has conducted capability
assessments for a telecommunications company in North Carolina, worked
with the CEO of a Texas-based home-building company to establish a
requisite organizational structure, and advised the V.P. of Human
Resources of an Austin based technology company on the effects of
organization structure regarding their current difficulties, as well as
trained the H.R. staff in time-span measurements methodology.
Ms. Brause has informally advised small businesses and local consultants
in the Austin/Houston area as to root causes of a variety of organization
problems. She has introduced Requisite Organization to many professional
groups and companies in Texas, providing training and time-span
assessments of roles in organizations. In addition, she continues to
problem solve with criminal justice professionals on the root causes of a
lack of accountability within and between criminal justice organizations.
Ms. Brause received a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in
Organization Development, exploring the application of Jaques and Cason’s
capability model to U.S. presidential candidates. She created and provided
instruction at St. Edward’s University for the first course in Requisite
Organization. As a result of her introductory course to Jaques’ work, all
management students at St. Edward’s University receive some exposure to
the Principles of Requisite Organization Total Management System. She is
often a guest lecturer to graduate students at University of Texas,
University of Houston and other universities around the country.
Dr. Brause’s organizational roles have been focused on not-for-profit
institutions such as program development, counseling, and interpreting for
The Texas School for the Deaf, marketing and sales for The United Farm
Workers of America, Board President for the Political Asylum Project of
Austin, crime analysis for the Austin Police Department, Adjunct Faculty
for St. Edward’s University, Requisite Organization International
Institute Associate and currently as Director of Texas and the South West
Region, ROII.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Requisite Organization International Institute, Gloucester, MA – Director
Participated in two full-scale implementations of Requisite Organization
under the direction of Elliott Jaques and Kathryn Cason. Provided
consultation to Austin consultants and HR Directors. Developed and
conducted presentations and seminars on Requisite Organization for
business organizations. Created and organized the 2001 international
conference.
St. Edwards University, Austin, TX -- Adjunct Faculty MBA Program
Taught graduate MBA courses and developed and taught the first course in
Requisite Organization.
Mehltretter Associates, Raleigh, N.C. -- Contract Consulting
Helped develop a system for assessing Complexity of Information Processing
(CIP). Assessed employees of a corporation and helped create development
protocols.
