EXPERIENCE SUMMARIES FOR KEY PERSONNEL

Alison Brause

EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

A professional with unique experience and a proven track record in Organizational Development and Improvement, Training and Skill Development, Organizing and Networking, Consulting and Facilitation

DETAILED EXPERIENCE

Ms. Brause has participated in two full scale implementations of Requisite Organization: a Singapore based global company of 60,000 employees, under the direction of Dr. Jaques and the Corporate V.P. of Organization Engineering, and a growing Florida-based manufacturing and installation company under the direction of Kathryn Cason. She has conducted capability assessments for a telecommunications company in North Carolina, worked with the CEO of a Texas-based home-building company to establish a requisite organizational structure, and advised the V.P. of Human Resources of an Austin based technology company on the effects of organization structure regarding their current difficulties, as well as trained the H.R. staff in time-span measurements methodology.

Ms. Brause has informally advised small businesses and local consultants in the Austin/Houston area as to root causes of a variety of organization problems. She has introduced Requisite Organization to many professional groups and companies in Texas, providing training and time-span assessments of roles in organizations. In addition, she continues to problem solve with criminal justice professionals on the root causes of a lack of accountability within and between criminal justice organizations.

Ms. Brause received a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in Organization Development, exploring the application of Jaques and Cason’s capability model to U.S. presidential candidates. She created and provided instruction at St. Edward’s University for the first course in Requisite Organization. As a result of her introductory course to Jaques’ work, all management students at St. Edward’s University receive some exposure to the Principles of Requisite Organization Total Management System. She is often a guest lecturer to graduate students at University of Texas, University of Houston and other universities around the country.

Dr. Brause’s organizational roles have been focused on not-for-profit institutions such as program development, counseling, and interpreting for The Texas School for the Deaf, marketing and sales for The United Farm Workers of America, Board President for the Political Asylum Project of Austin, crime analysis for the Austin Police Department, Adjunct Faculty for St. Edward’s University, Requisite Organization International Institute Associate and currently as Director of Texas and the South West Region, ROII.
