Jerry Quinn has over 33 years’ Group, Division, Company and Project Management experience in engineering, design, operations and maintenance with electric utility, architect engineer and consulting services companies.
BACKGROUND
Following service as an electrician in the U.S. Navy nuclear power program, Jerry began his career by becoming a licensed reactor operator with the Southern California Edison Company, subsequently completing his bachelor’s of engineering studies while working as a system engineer.
Jerry worked for Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation in both Boston and Denver where he rapidly progressed from staff engineer to Project Management and Division Management. He ultimately held concurrent responsibilities as Division Manager of three services divisions along with Project Manager for several design and construction, plant modifications, and engineering re-analysis efforts. During one period, he also served as Outage Manager at a utility, coordinating the efforts of over 1400 personnel to successfully return a plant to service.
He gained additional senior management, executive and leadership experience while working as a Senior Officer for several services consultants.
Most recently, Jerry has been providing services with focus in project and organization management, engineering, and process assessment and design; this includes senior management coaching and mentoring and direct project management of critical regulatory issues. His clients have included federal, state and local government agencies as well as public and privately owned companies.
Jerry earned his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine. Active in several professional societies, he maintains Professional Engineering registration in six states.
